RG Consultancy are recruiting for a company based in Crewe who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager of an SME in the day to day running of the accounts. The role is a new role, created to support with the growing workload of the department. You will work closely with and report to the Finance Manager.

Flexible working hours (8/4, 8.30/4.30, 9/5)

  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

The Role

  • Sales ledger, setting up customer accounts, produce sales ledger invoices weekly and monthly
  • Credit control support to reduce aged debt
  • Purchase ledger, inputting invoices, supplier payments
  • Bank reconciliations, customer and supplier reconciliations
  • Supporting with payroll where needed
  • Other ad-hoc duties where the Finance Manager needs support

The Person

  • Experience with purchase ledger and credit control is essential
  • Experience with SAGE would be an advantage
  • Payroll experience would be an advantage
  • AAT part or qualified would be an advantage
  • Good IT Skills, including MS Excel
