RG Consultancy are delighted to be supporting an excellent, well-established business who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their finance team in Accrington.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this Management Accountant role would cover the 3 main UK brands within the group.
This is a hands‑on role and requires someone who is confident in taking ownership of the month end process and can assist with budgeting/forecasting. They also expect this role to operate as a business partner to other departments and someone who is able to relay financial information to people from a non‑financial background would be a great addition to the team.
Duties include:
- Monthly management accounts production with commentary
- Posting journals - accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred income/expenses
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring aged debt (liaising with credit control)
- Ad hoc flash reporting
- VAT returns
- Cashflow management
- Mentoring and supervising more junior team members
