RG Consultancy are proud to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in Birkenhead to help recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part/qualified AAT candidate to support the accountant and develop their career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Process journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Responsible for accounts receivable, posting invoices and credit control
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Support the payroll process
  • Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
  • Assist with VAT returns and compliance reporting
  • Produce financial reports and analysis for management
  • Support audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records
  • Contribute to improving finance processes and controls
