RG Consultancy are working with a reputable business who are looking for an assistant accountant on a full time, permanent basis in Pudsey. You will join a team of 3 and will be responsible for all day‑to‑day financial transactions and assist with more month end duties. This role will report into the head of finance within the team.
Duties include:
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Accruals, prepayments and journals
- Assist with completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with the posting of month end journals
- Monthly Reporting on AP ledger balances.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and other reporting requirements.
- Assist with all financial accounting tasks where required
