RG Consultancy is proud to be working with a successful and growing business near Altrincham to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant to join its finance team.

The Role
Reporting into the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Record to Report function and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and posting journals
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing accruals and prepayments
- Supporting financial reporting requirements
- Investigating and resolving financial queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an R2R, finance administration, accounts or assistant accountant role
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good Excel skills
- The ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
