RG Consultancy are working with a well established manufacturing company based in Accrington who are looking to add an experienced part-time Accounts Assistant to their small, friendly team. This Accounts Assistant role would report into the Finance Director and be mainly responsible for the purchase ledger whilst also getting involved in other areas of the accounts office.
Responsibilities:
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Posting invoices to the system
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparing of payments
- Daily posting of the cashbooks in multi-currency (GBP/USD/EUR)
- Running debtor reports
- Assisting the Finance Director with preparation of month end accounts
- Ad hoc cover for sales ledger and purchasing
This role is suited to an experienced Accounts Assistant who is used to working in a small team and looking for part-time hours. The role is for approximately 24 hours a week but they can be flexible with the number of hours and can adjust working patterns for the right candidate - 3 full days / school hours across 5 days / 4 day week etc.
