Reporting Management Accountant

RG Consultancy is working with a successful and growing property and hospitality business looking to recruit a Reporting Management Accountant to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced management accountant to take ownership of the monthly reporting process across multiple business entities, providing valuable financial insight to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across the group. You will work closely with operational managers and senior stakeholders, helping to drive profitability and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities within the group
  • Produce profit and loss reports, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Deliver monthly reporting packs with detailed financial commentary
  • Analyse variances against budgets, forecasts and prior year performance
  • Assist with annual budgets and regular forecasting cycles
  • Support cash flow reporting and financial planning activities
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Provide commercial analysis on revenue, costs and profitability
  • Business partner with operational managers across the organisation
  • Support year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience producing management accounts and financial reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working within a multi-site or multi-entity environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience within property, hospitality, real estate or a similar commercial environment would be advantageous
