RG consultancy are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company to help recruit an experienced management Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Finance manager this is a brilliant opportunity for a part/ qualified CIMA / ACCA professional be part of a successful company and manage a growing team of 4 .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
- Producing monthly reporting packs and financial analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Monitoring costs, margins and overall business performance
- Providing insight and financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Supporting cash flow forecasting and financial planning
- Assisting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Ensure financial controls and processes are maintained
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
- 2 years proven experience within a similar role is required
