Part-Time Accounts Assistant (25 Hours per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join a friendly finance team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with solid ledger experience who is looking for a flexible position of 25 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales ledger including raising invoices, allocating payments, and resolving customer queries.
- Handle purchase ledger duties such as processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payment runs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks.
- Assist with month-end routines where required.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations.
About You
- Previous experience in sales and purchase ledger is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using accounting software and Excel.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with suppliers and customers.
