We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a supportive team based in Swinton. This role involves a range of transactional finance duties and supporting month-end processes. Key responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices, match to orders/delivery notes, and maintain supplier accounts
  • Prepare supplier payments, reconcile statements, and resolve queries
  • Raise sales invoices, allocate payments, and manage debtor balances
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Post journals and resolve discrepancies
  • Support month-end reporting and audit preparation
  • General finance and administrative support

Person Specification:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • AAT qualification or studying towards would be an advantage but not essential
