We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to play a key role in the evolution of a growing business. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management with technical accounting expertise, system improvement and close interaction with senior stakeholders.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for leading a small finance team, ensuring the smooth running of core transactional and management accounting activities while driving improvements in controls, reporting and processes. As the business continues to scale, you'll help shape a finance function that is robust, efficient and fit for the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team responsible for sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger, payroll and management accounts, stepping in operationally when needed
  • Building team capability to meet future business demands, identifying skills gaps and supporting recruitment as the function grows
  • Enhancing financial controls, reporting and processes
  • Delivering accurate month-end close and performance reporting to local leadership and group finance within strict deadlines
  • Supporting both routine and ad hoc reporting requests from central finance and private equity stakeholders
  • Producing forecasts, budgets and cashflow projections to support business planning
