RG Consultancy are working with an SME (approx. 25 million TO business) looking for a Financial Controller to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This role is an office-based position and is a hands on varied role. This would suit someone who is wanting to support an SME business.
The role reports to the financial director (who is based off site and in a UK location) and has 1 direct report (accounts clerk) who is based on site.
Benefits:
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday (flexi start and finish times)

- 26 days plus bank holidays - 4 days to be saved for Christmas as they have a full shut down

Duties:
- Preparation monthly management accounts
- Submission of VAT returns
- Accruals and prepayments
- Nominal ledger
- HMRC queries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Account reconciliations
- Audit support
- 1 direct report (account assistant)
- Other ad-hoc duties
