RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic growing SME in Uttoxeter who are currently recruiting an experienced part-time Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly finance team to support Accounts Payable and Credit Control. You will work with and report into the Finance Manager on a daily basis.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the finance department
- Assist with the Accounts Payable function, including processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements.
- Support the Credit Control process by monitoring customer accounts, chasing outstanding payments and allocating receipts
- Respond to supplier and customer queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Support month-end processes and reporting
- Prepare and update spreadsheets and finance reports using Microsoft Excel
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the wider finance team
Person Specification
- Previous experience working within an accounts assistant or similar role is essential
- Strong IT skills in particular accounting software and MS Excel
- AAT qualified or studying towards would be an advantage
