RG Consultancy are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Finance Manger to join a successful manufacturing company based in Ellesmere port. Reporting directly to the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ACCA/ CIMA part/ qualified candidate to join an established company and grow their career.
Skills :
- Oversee the full day to day finance function
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
- Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
- Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing month-end and year-end processes.
- Preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
- Monitoring financial performance and providing meaningful analysis to senior management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Supporting and developing members of the finance team.
- Working closely with directors and senior management on financial and commercial matters.
- Managing an existing team of 6 within finance
The ideal candidate
- At least 2 years' experience within a similar senior finance position
- CIMA, ACCA qualified/ part - qualified is preferred
- Commercially aware with a strong analytical mindset
