We're working with a growing company in Chester who are looking for a Management Accountant to join them at an exciting stage of their journey. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Directors and project managers to shape financial decisions as the business scales.
- Management accounts & reporting: Preparing monthly management accounts including balance sheet variance analysis, P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting, leading month end and year end close and stock variation.
- Financial Processing & control: Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, inputting and posting all purchase & sales invoices, bank posting, raising proforma invoices, supplier payment scheduling and issuing remittance advice with payroll inputting and daily bank reconciliations.
- Credit Control: Monitor incoming payment dates and proactively chase customer payments by managing debtor due days, overdue escalation, resolving invoice queries and disputes.
- Tax & compliance: VAT returns and maintaining accurate records for HMRC queries.
- Leadership & Communication: Build strong relationships across the business. Handle customer and supplier questions whilst maintaining strong relationships.
