We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and successful company based in Horwich, Bolton.
Working alongside the Finance Controller and Finance Director you will play a key role in the preparation of management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting and providing valuable financial insight to the wider business.
Duties include
- Monthly management accounts preparation
- Journal postings - accruals, prepayments, depreciation, deferred income/expenses
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Cash flow management
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Mentoring and supervising more junior team members
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
