In order to continue this positive trend in the future, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic Specifications & Compliance Expert in the UK to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities
- To act as the trusted specification authority for M&E consultants, contractors, and architects, ensuring Rf-Technologies' fire and smoke safety systems — including controls — are designed in at the pre-tender stage through persistent engagement and expert technical insight.
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities:
- Securing specifications of Rf-Technologies fire dampers, smoke control dampers, and related controls in pre-tender designs.
- Growing the specification pipeline in alignment with the Rf-Technologies sales pipeline, formalised and tracked via RfT's CRM.
- Maximising Rf-Technologies' visibility and influence through the NBS platform within the design and architect community.
- Acting as the voice of the customer for new or emerging market and product developments, providing timely expert input to the RfT product development team.
- Serving as an industry and internal thought-leader on standards, compliance, and innovation, reinforcing Rf-Technologies as the trusted authority.
Qualifications

Essential Knowledge & Expertise:
- Technical fluency in fire and smoke control dampers and control systems, with a strong understanding of CE and UK standards (e.g. EN 13501-4, EN 1366-10, EN 1366-2, DW 145).
- Proven and active network within the M&E consultant and architectural community in the UK & Ireland.
- Confident communicator in both verbal and written formats — able to deliver focused presentations (e.g. CPDs), respond to specification queries, and contribute to technical materials.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across internal teams and influence without relying on hierarchical authority.
