The Inside Sales Representative, reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, plays a crucial role in driving commercial growth within the assigned territory, working in close collaboration with regional field sales teams. This role will specifically support French-speaking countries in Europe and may be based from our Lincoln office. Delivering customer excellence sits at the heart of this position, working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Generate new and repeat sales by promptly providing product information and responding to price requests.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes within specified timeframes.
  • Utilize our internal Yukon System to accurately process and manage customer transactions, including orders, quotes, returns, and samples.
  • Efficiently handle opportunity tracking, design registrations, and ship & debits.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales and Product Management teams to determine customer requirements and expectations.
  • Recommend specific products and solutions based on customer needs.
  • Suggest alternate products considering factors like cost, availability, and specifications.
  • Provide up-to-date information on the availability of in-stock items.
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors regarding shipment dates and expected delivery.
  • Proactively recommend additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and transaction profitability.
  • Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor delivery dates and ensure products meet customer requirements and quality expectations.

Product Knowledge:

  • Continuously expand product knowledge by participating in RFMW or supplier-sponsored training.
  • Utilize all available resources, including product literature, supplier representatives, product managers, and sales managers, to discuss product options with customers and highlight RFMW's strengths.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management teams, Regional Sales Managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively recommend products and services to increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.

Shipping:

  • Receive and inspect incoming products against purchase orders.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and lot codes.
  • Pick and pack items accurately, generating barcodes when needed.
  • Ship products using the RFMW system and verify part numbers.
  • Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, and maintain records.
  • Ensure order accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education) or equivalent, in English and Maths. A pass at grade 4 or above (formerly grade C).
  • Proven experience in inside sales or a related customer-facing role, is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and order processing systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing product knowledge and technology.
