As an HR Advisor with Robertson Facilities Management, you’ll work as part of a small, dedicated team to provide an efficient and friendly HR service to your relevant business area(s). Our stakeholders vary across several sites and client contracts, so no two days will be the same as you directly support our people and people leaders, as well as contributing to team projects throughout the year.
Key responsibilities:- Support the delivery of the wider HR and People Plan whilst delivering and promoting best practice in compliance with Robertson Policy and Process to all stakeholders.
- Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices and ensure compliance providing professional advice and guidance.
- Support in the development and implementation of HR policies and process, including but not limited to disciplinary & grievance, performance management, absence management, redundancy, TUPE and on‑boarding.
- Assist on HR projects as delegated by the HR Director and HR Business Partner.
- Provide effective case management across your region, complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies and re‑evaluation of posts in accordance with both policies and procedures.
- Manage the Maternity, Paternity, adoption and Flexible working requests for RFM business units.
- Support the wider RFM HR Team with TUPE programmes, including preparation, consultation and ensuring the relevant legislation is complied with, both at bid stage and throughout the process. Work with trade unions and contract partners as appropriate at all stages of the process.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced HR Advisor who will be able to pick up and deliver on our policies, as well as contribute to our ongoing projects and direction for the team. You will preferably hold CIPD Membership level 5+, or experience commensurate to this level. You will be confident and knowledgeable to handle complex ER cases at times. Full UK Driving Licence and a willingness to travel to Hull, Wales, Tameside and Stockport.
