Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for masonry and building trades to develop their skills within a professional environment. Key Responsibilities * Skimming and re-skimming walls and ceilings to a high standard, ensuring smooth, professional finishes * Dry lining and plaster boarding, including stud walls, ceilings, and repairs * Installing coving and mouldings with accuracy and attention to detail * Carrying out patch repairs, making good, and full surface preparation prior to plastering * Rendering works (internal essential, external experience beneficial) * Identifying defects or issues and reporting them to supervisors or project managers * Working efficiently to agreed schedules while maintaining quality standards * Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times * Adhering to health and safety regulations and company procedures * Representing the company in a professional manner when working on site and in occupied properties What we're looking for * Proven experience in plastering within residential and/or commercial environments * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a wider team * Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively * Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic * Good communication skills when liaising with colleagues and clients * Full UK driving licence (essential) What we offer * Full-time, stable employment with consistent workload * Company van provided for work use * Mobile Phone and IT Equipment supplied * Competitive pay rate, dependent on experience and skill level * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for progression and development within the company * A company that values quality, reliability, and its people Requirements * Proven experience in plastering. * Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and scrapers * Experience with power tools including drills and mixers * Knowledge of bricklaying, roofing, welding, and carpentry skills is beneficial but not essential * Good organisational skills with attention to detail * Relevant qualifications or certifications in the plastering trade is essential If you take pride in delivering excellent finishes, enjoy working as part of a trusted team, and are looking for a long-term role with a professional company, we’d love to hear from you
