Overview: The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our restoration, reinstatement, and refurbishment projects. This role involves ensuring that all work is executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and lead a team including a Supervisor / Surveyor & admin, liaising with clients, insurers, and stakeholders to uphold our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities: * Oversee daily field operations, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and building regulations. * Coordinate and schedule project activities, resources, and personnel. * Work closely with the Supervisor and Surveyor to ensure accurate project assessments and quotations. * Liaise with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters to understand project requirements and expectations. * Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion. * Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, providing regular updates to line Manager. * Conduct quality control inspections and assessments on ongoing projects. * Train, mentor, and evaluate field staff to enhance performance and promote professional development. * Implement and maintain sustainable practices in operations and project execution. * Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project implementation, ensuring minimal disruption. * Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality materials and services. * Provide regular management reports detailing status of open jobs and results from closed jobs. * Adhere to all company-issued policies and procedures. * Undertake additional duties as reasonably assigned by the company. * Work in accordance with our Company values of Teamwork, Respect, Professionalism, Trust & Care. Essential Skills and Experience: * Proven experience in project management within the construction and/or building repair industry. * Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control processes. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders. * Demonstrable leadership skills and experience of managing teams effectively. * Proficient in budget management and financial reporting. * Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure. * Familiarity with sustainable building practices and methodologies. * Experience of showing empathy in dealing with homeowners as they navigate traumatic situations. * Undertake any other responsibilities reasonably assigned by the company. * Offer proactive support to senior management and depatments as needed
