RFLPS is supporting our parent Trust, the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust in search of an experienced Senior Asset Management Surveyor. The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is the 6th largest trust in the UK delivering care to more than 1.6 million patients each year through four main acute hospitals: Royal Free London, Barnet, Chase Farm and North Middlesex.

Main Duties: The Senior Asset Management Surveyor will support the Strategic Development Manager to deliver a range of development projects across the Trust's sites and external projects where necessary. The main duties of the role are strategic land advisory and asset management, including:

  • Driving value from the Trust's surplus assets.
  • Managing project and programme budgets.
  • Advising clients in devising and implementing property strategies.
  • Supporting the promotion and progression of development and property transactions.

What we are looking for: A qualified surveyor with experience of development appraisals, development advisory and legal agreement, OJEU partner procurement, project management, acquisition and disposal work, and town planning together with experience in general asset management. Chartered professional MRICS or equivalent. Experience of reviewing development appraisals and assessing viability including discount cash flow analysis and sensitivity testing. Awareness of public sector procurement and governance procedures and experience in reporting milestones and supporting/informing key decisions. Strong project management, communication and negotiation skills.
