Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a truly global accounting role within a fast‑growing, international multi‑company environment, offering broad exposure and the chance to develop your experience across a diverse range of finance activities. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern of two days per week in the office.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day finance function, taking full responsibility for accounts payable and accounts receivable, managing general expense processing, and working closely with colleagues across the business. This varied position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities:- Handling supplier queries and statement reconciliations
- Maintaining supplier and customer accounts
- Issuing Sales Orders and customer invoices efficiently
- Handling customer queries, debtor collections, and cash allocations
- Assisting with financial accounting tasks around month‑end
- Processing and reimbursement of staff expenses
- Assisting in all payroll and other taxes and super payments
- Processing credit card transactions
- Ad hoc office admin and filing for the finance team
- Being a proactive member of the finance team and assisting with finance projects
- At least two years' accounts experience, especially accounts payable/receivable, in a corporate environment
- Studying towards any accounting qualifications (qualified by experience will also be considered)
- Excellent English language, presentation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience in multi‑currency environment is highly preferable
- The ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly
- Experience of NetSuite would be a huge advantage
- Good computer and IT skills
