The University of Cambridge is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant/Associate in Machine Learning for Healthcare. This role is based within a leading research group focused on the development and application of advanced machine learning methods to healthcare challenges.

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research projects aimed at improving clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and healthcare system efficiency through the use of artificial intelligence and data-driven methodologies. (Eligibility Criteria)
Applicants should hold (or be close to completing) a degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline. For Research Associate level, a PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject is required.

Strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or statistical modelling

Experience working with large and complex datasets, preferably in healthcare or biomedical contexts

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and relevant machine learning frameworks

Ability to design, implement, and evaluate computational models

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Salary details
£29,605 to £44,263 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
