Cadet Quartermaster An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the RFCA For Yorkshire & The Humber as a Cadet Quartermaster (CQM) based in the Humberside & South Yorkshire ACF. Responsible for providing expert services in support of the Ministry of Defence, this is a full-time post based at the Cadet Training Centre in Driffield. The RFCA for Yorkshire & the Humber (RFCA YH) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting the tri-service Reservists and Cadets across Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as providing support and assistance to the employers of Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers. As an organisation, we engage with the community in order to improve understanding of the roles and needs of the Armed Forces in general and the Reserve and Cadet Forces in particular. We are dedicated to raising awareness of the contribution they make to the nation and our region. Normal Quartermaster duties apply and cover managing a Stores Environment including full responsibility for all Stores Accounting, Supply and Maintenance, Facilities Management, Safety, Health and Safety Management. Previous commissioned service with the Armed Forces would be advantageous. Applicants must hold a full driving licence, preferably to include LGV (Cat C). Candidates should have strong organisational, communication and IT literacy skills. The successful applicant will be eligible to join the CRFCA Pension scheme, which is a Career Average Revalued Earnings scheme (CARE) and will be entitled to 25 days annual leave, plus Bank holidays. Annual leave entitlement increases by 1 day per year up to 30 days; those with 5 years’ prior service with HM Forces/OGD will start with 30 days’ entitlement. Does this sound like you?
