Are you a maintenance technician with good all round building services maintenance experience looking for an immediate start in a temporary role? We have a new role for a maintenance technician to join one of the UK's leading Universities based in central London. This is a static role, 35 hours per week, paid weekly at an hourly rate of £19.65 PAYE (23.30 Umbrella rate).
Within this maintenance role you will be based at the Universities halls of residence and be responsible for all round maintenance including:
- Basic plumbing
- Unblocking sinks and toilets
- Fabric maintenance
- Repairing doors and windows
- General upkeep of the University halls
- PPMs and reactive minor repairs
For this temporary maintenance role we are looking for:
- A solid work history of commercial building services maintenance ideally from student accommodation or a hotel background
- Experience of basic plumbing
- Experience of fabric or carpentry work
- A clear DBS
- A great attitude to work backed up by good references
