Are you a qualified maintenance electrician with experience of BMS controls and a passion to learn more about BMS controls? We have a new role for a qualified maintenance electrician to join a leading University in central London on an ongoing interim basis. You will be working 35 hours per week (8-4) and be paid weekly for this role at a PAYE rate of £23.68 per hour (28.07 Umbrella rate).
This is an opportunity to not only deliver electrical maintenance but also to train as a BMS controls engineer and gain valuable experience in this area.
Within this maintenance electrician's role, you will be responsible for:
- BMS controls
- BMS fault finding
- Working closely with the BMS controls engineers
- Testing on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and lift alarms
- Replacement of ballasts and lighting
- PAT testing
- Lamp changes
- Safety checks on DB boards
- Installations of light fittings, DB boards
- Testing of electrical systems
- General building services maintenance as required
- PPMs and reactive minor repairs
