Are you a seasoned and exceptional workplace experience facilities leader looking to shape the daily experience of some of the brightest minds in global finance and technology, ensuring they operate in an environment that is as exceptional as their work? We are recruiting a workplace and experience operations manager for a global trading and technology powerhouse, operating at the sharp edge of financial markets.
You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and uninterrupted facilities operations across reception, mail services, conference centre operations and food service areas. This London headquarters is not just an office; it is a mission-critical environment where world-class traders, engineers, and researchers collaborate to deliver innovation and resilience at scale. This office environment has diverse operational and design needs.
You will liaise with the parties involved in designing, building and managing the amenity spaces including food service operators, consultants, architects, engineers, project managers, facilities managers, equipment suppliers and manufacturers to ensure those needs are met with the right solutions.
In this Senior Workplace and Experience Facilities Management role your responsibilities will include:
- Planning budgets and managing vendors, contractors and external suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and value for money
- Sourcing and evaluating service providers, negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms and monitoring vendor performance against established metrics
- Developing and implementing KPI and SLA standards for all operational areas and driving continuous improvement
- Coordinating equipment deliveries, inspections, installations and commissioning with appropriate teams
- Mentoring and leading a team (including outsourced providers) to deliver excellent service
- Proactively identifying and resolving workplace challenges
- Creating and supporting a positive, inclusive and vibrant workplace culture that encourages relationships and supports employee well-being
For this Workplace and Experience Facilities leadership role we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in a workplace services or facilities management at the leadership level
- Critical thinker with a practical understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems specific to food service environments
- Strong professional network in the workplace services and hospitality industry, along with some expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners
- Experience of budget management and financial acumen with experience identifying cost optimisation opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communicator; can speak comfortably in a large group
