What we’re looking for
Our client is seeking passionate team players who bring joy to customers every day. As an experienced Multi Skilled Fabric Technician, you will:
- Report to the Technician Team Leader and work within a high-performing group of multi-skilled technicians responsible for delivering general fabric maintenance across the estate, ensuring shops remain well-loved, safe and compliant.
- Use your experience and knowledge to complete a variety of jobs within agreed SLAs, always mindful of minimising disruption to shop operations.
- Carry out minor fabric repairs and painting.
- Repair damaged plaster, brick slips and minor wall issues.
- Complete ironmongery tasks including doors, locks and handles.
- Undertake minor tiling and grouting repairs.
- Repair trims and beading.
- Level door mats and complete threshold repairs.
- Re-fix skirting boards.
- Replace ceiling tiles and grids.
- Replace toilet seats.
- Re-seal silicone around sinks and toilets.
- Unblock toilets and sinks.
- Repair chairs, tables and benches.
- Maintain lighting and replace lamps and fittings.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including waste disposal and proper storage of tools and materials.
- Work confidently at height and use a range of tools and equipment.
- Use basic computer skills to operate a hand-held device for reporting.
- Communicate effectively with shop teams and colleagues regarding progress and any issues.
This is a foot mobile role in London. Work on a rota system covering 7am–7pm Monday to Friday and 8am–4:30pm Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility required.
About you

- Relevant trade qualification preferred (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds carpentry).

- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
