Rezzil creates performance products for sport across VR, mobile and console, working across B2B, B2C and gaming experiences. Our products are used by elite athletes, clubs, coaches, players and sports fans, combining real-time 3D, gameplay, performance analysis and immersive technology. We are Manchester and London based, with a growing team working across sports, gaming, data, broadcast and future computer vision and AI products.

We’re looking for a Junior 3D Artist to join our art team and support the creation of high‑quality real‑time assets across our products. This is a hands‑on role for someone with strong foundational 3D skills, a good eye for detail and the motivation to learn from experienced artists. You’ll assist our senior artists with day‑to‑day production tasks, helping create, optimise and polish assets for real‑time environments across Unity, Unreal or similar engines. You’ll be working on sports‑focused products where visual quality, performance and usability all matter. This would suit someone early in their 3D art career who has already built solid skills in 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Photoshop, and now wants to further develop in a fast‑moving real‑time production environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist senior artists with the creation, clean‑up, optimisation and delivery of 3D assets.
  • Create and prepare 3D models for use in real‑time applications across games, VR, mobile and console products.
  • Work with 3ds Max, Substance Painter and Photoshop as part of the core asset production pipeline.
  • Support with modelling, UV unwrapping, texturing, material setup and asset optimisation.
  • Import, test and iterate on assets in Unity, Unreal or similar real‑time engines.
  • Help ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements, including scale, performance, naming conventions and file organisation.
  • Take feedback from senior artists, designers and developers, and apply it accurately.
  • Support the wider art team with production tasks across environments, props, sports assets and visual content.
  • Continue developing your technical art knowledge, real‑time workflow skills and understanding of production pipelines.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience using 3ds Max for 3D modelling and asset creation.
  • Experience using Substance Painter for texturing and material creation.
  • Experience using Photoshop as part of a 3D art workflow.
  • Real‑time experience in Unity, Unreal or another game engine.
  • A strong portfolio showing 3D modelling, texturing and real‑time asset work.
  • Good understanding of modelling fundamentals, UVs, texture maps, materials and asset optimisation.
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback and improve quickly.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in clean, well‑organised work.
  • An interest in games, sports, real‑time 3D or immersive technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with artists, designers and developers.

Bonus points for:

  • Character art experience.
  • Maya experience.
  • ZBrush experience for sculpting or high‑resolution asset creation.
  • Experience creating assets for sports, games, VR or mobile products.
  • Understanding of real‑time performance constraints, including polycounts, texture sizes and draw calls.
  • Basic rigging, animation or skinning knowledge.
  • Experience with version control or structured production pipelines.

What success looks like:

In this role, you’ll be trusted to support the art team with reliable, production‑ready work while continuing to grow your skills. You’ll be able to take clear briefs, follow feedback, produce clean assets and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence and technical ability develop. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one, but you should bring strong fundamentals, curiosity and a positive attitude to learning in a real‑time production environment.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary + share options.
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays.
  • Christmas closure (3 additional days).
  • Flexible working and hybrid options.
