We are Manchester based, with an office in London, and we will be opening US offices later this year as we continue to build our presence across the UK, US and global mobile markets.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to help build the next generation of real-time sports visualisation and interactive rendering systems across our broadcast, consumer and performance products.

This role is focused on developing modern web-based front-end systems capable of rendering live sports data in real time.

These systems will power everything from broadcast graphics and analysis tools through to immersive fan and athlete experiences.

You will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining a shared rendering platform that can be integrated throughout Rezzil’s product ecosystem.

Alongside this, you will contribute to the wider front-end development of our web applications, internal tooling and product interfaces.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex real-time visualisation challenges, has strong React experience and is excited by interactive 3D and web graphics technologies such as Three. js and Web GL.

  • What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain a real-time web-based rendering system for sports data visualisation.
  • Develop interactive graphics and visual experiences using Three. js, Web GL and related technologies.
  • Integrate live sports data feeds into responsive rendering pipelines.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers working primarily across Laravel, PHP and Node JS environments.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture, reusable component systems and UI standards across products.
  • Optimise rendering performance for real-time applications and live data environments.
  • Work closely with product, design, broadcast and sports performance teams to deliver new features.
  • Support the wider development of Rezzil’s web applications, internal tools and product interfaces.
  • Help shape the technical direction of Rezzil’s front-end and rendering platforms.
  • What we’re looking for
  • Strong commercial experience with React.
  • Experience building complex front-end applications and component architectures.
  • Experience with Three. js, Web GL or real-time rendering technologies.
  • Strong understanding of real-time data handling, state management and performance optimisation.
  • Experience integrating APIs and live data streams, such as Web Sockets or real-time event systems.
  • Strong CSS knowledge, with the ability to build responsive, maintainable and polished interfaces.
  • Good UI/UX awareness and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with Git, modern front-end build tools and development workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, product, broadcast and sports performance.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience working alongside Laravel, PHP or Node JS back ends.
  • Experience within sports technology, broadcast graphics, live production or data visualisation environments.
  • Familiarity with animation systems, shaders or GPU-accelerated rendering.
  • Knowledge of video, graphics or real-time media pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted or scalable web applications.
  • Understanding of data visualisation techniques for sports analytics.
  • Experience with Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks.
  • An interest in sport, gaming, VR, broadcast, computer vision or AI-led products.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary, pension contributions, 25 days holiday with closure over Christmas, flexible working hours including working from home, an early Friday finish, and more!

How to prepare for a job interview at Rezzil

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Rezzil uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
