Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (40 hours per week excluding breaks)

We are now looking for a Learning & Development and Talent Lead to design, build and embed a progressive, skills-led approach to learning and talent that genuinely improves performance on the ground. This is a career-defining opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who wants to move beyond courses and programmes and create practical, applied learning that sticks, shaping the function, the strategy and the future direction of L&D and Talent across the Group.
The Opportunity
This is not a maintain what already exists role. You will:
- Design and lead a modern L&D and Talent function that is embedded into day-to-day operations.
- Build skills-based frameworks, Training Needs Analyses (TNAs) and development pathways that directly support productivity, engagement and succession.
- Introduce a pragmatic, operationally relevant talent and succession model that leaders actually use.
- Reduce reliance on traditional classrooms and innovate with on-the-job, blended and experiential learning.
- Lead and develop a small, capable L&D team and raise the impact and visibility of learning across the business.
You will work closely with Operations Directors, Site Leaders and senior stakeholders, positioning Learning and Talent as a commercial enabler, not a support function.
