About the Role
Reynolds Catering Supplies is looking for a Transport Debrief Clerk to join our busy transport team. You will support the daily operation by debriefing drivers, checking delivery paperwork and ensuring returned goods and equipment are processed correctly. This is a key role that helps keep our transport operation running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Paperwork Processing: Reviewing and completing documentation relating to bulk checks, backhauls and goods returned to the depot.
- Equipment Returns Monitoring: Ensuring all equipment is returned and escalating any customer queries or issues to the Team Leaders when required.
- Delivery Confirmation Checks: Verifying invoices to confirm deliveries were completed and signed for where applicable.
- Driver Debriefing: Meeting drivers on return to review paperwork and highlight any delivery shortages.
- Returned Goods Coordination: Working with the Goods Returned team to ensure all returned items are correctly processed through the Goods In department.
- Vehicle Fault Reporting: Recording any vehicle issues reported by drivers and ensuring they are communicated and resolved.
- Operational Support: Assisting Team Leaders with tasks that help process drivers efficiently on their return to depot.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Administrative Experience: Previous administration experience is desirable, ideally within logistics or transport.
- IT Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Problem Solving: Able to identify issues and take appropriate action.
- Communication: Confident speaking with drivers and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Positive Attitude: Friendly, reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
