We are a highly ambitious, forward-thinking and innovative family business that puts employees first.
This is a tramping position working on a 4 on 4 off basis. This contract is a nationwide contract with loading and delivery points scattered throughout the country. As a result, we can be flexible with the base location of these drivers. The depot base for applicants could be one of Kingsbury, Sheffield or Lutterworth.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport CO2 gas to various customers across designated routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Load and unload CO2 gas tankers and MEGC's in accordance with safety protocols.
- Complete delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and relevant logs.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism.
- Ensure all equipment is secure during transport to prevent accidents or damage.
- Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with industry regulations.
- Valid driver's license and ADR qualifications in Class 2 Gases.
- Previous experience in driving and delivering hazardous materials is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety regulations regarding the transportation of compressed gases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with gas deliveries, especially CO2 or similar products.
