Starting Salary: £31,725 (increasing to £41,787 after completing Class 2 licence)
Working Hours: Average of 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including Saturday work)
What you’ll do:
- While training you may be utilised in a 3.5T vehicle or learn on the job with a mentor showing you all aspects of the job.
- After passing your theory and obtaining your Class 2 licence you will initially be driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle for up to 8 weeks, gaining experience of driving an HGV vehicle.
- After this period, you will be assessed by one of our assessors in an HGV Class 2 vehicle, and on successful completion you will be classed as a Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver.
Salary progression:
- Basic salary of £31,725 during training.
- While gaining experience in a 7.5T vehicle, your salary will increase to £35,432.
- After being assessed in a 26T vehicle and once signed off, your salary will increase to £41,787.
