What You’ll Be Doing
- Manual Handling & Machinery Operation: Picking goods weighing up to 25kg and operating warehouse machinery (full training provided).
- Picking, Packing & Labelling: Accurately picking, packing, scanning, labelling, wrapping and palletising goods in line with customer requirements.
- Stock Control: Completing stock movement, rotation checks and ensuring product availability at all times.
- Quality & Waste Control: Monitoring quality standards, reporting damaged or short items, and assisting in minimising waste while maximising productivity and service levels.
- Pallet Assembly: Assembling products safely on pallets, avoiding compression and product damage.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, HACCP controls, legal requirements, and Company policies at all times.
- Clean as You Go: Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and keeping your work area clean and organised.
- Security Awareness: Complying with Company security policies and reporting any suspicious incidents to Senior Management.
- General Duties: Carrying out other warehouse operative duties as required.
