Location: Bardon, LE67 1UD

Starting Salary: £31,725 (increasing to £37,360 after completing Class 2 licence)

Working Hours: Average of 48 hours per week – 1am start times

Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including Saturday work)

This program is designed for individuals with a strong work ethic, who want to become a qualified LGV/HGV Driver.

What You’ll Do

  • While training you may be utilised in a 3.5T vehicle or learn on the job with a mentor showing you all aspects of the job.
  • After passing your theory and obtaining your Class 2 licence you will initially be driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle for up to 8 weeks, so that you gain experience of driving an HGV vehicle.
  • After this period, you will then be assessed by one of our assessors in an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
  • On successful completion, you will be classed as a Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver.

Salary Progression

  • Basic salary of £31,725 during training.
  • While gaining experience in a 7.5T vehicle, your salary will increase to £33,609.
  • After being assessed in a 26T vehicle and once signed off, your salary will increase to £37,360.
