We are recruiting a Trainee Driver to become an HGV Class 2 Driver within 5 months. Training includes driving a 3.5T vehicle, a 7.5 tonne vehicle, and final assessment in a 26T vehicle.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Average of 48 hours per week. 2:30am starts. 3‑week rota: 6, 5 and 4 days, with Saturday working.

Salary

Basic salary £31,724.16 during training. Salary increases to £33,609.00 while driving a 7.5T vehicle and to £37,360 after assessment and signing off.

What You’ll Do

While training you will be utilised in a 3.5T vehicle or learn on the job under a mentor. After passing theory and obtaining Class 2 licence you will initially drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for up to 8 weeks. After this period you will be assessed by an assessor in an HGV Class 2 vehicle; successful completion will have you classed as a Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver.
