Job Summary
Plan and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives on a daily basis to achieve daily workload.
Ensure audit readiness is maintained in the Warehouse at all times, including compliance to all legislation appertaining to Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety and company hygiene standards.
Cover Shift Managers holiday and absences.
- Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the daily tasks of a team to ensure the Warehouse achieves against planned targets and all relevant KPI’s
- Manage and understand the WMS system
- Knowledge and understanding of Shift Manager role and what is required to cover in their absence
- MHE – Maintaining and charging of batteries
- Loading – Freezer/Chill/Dry- Loaded correctly and on time
- QIP – Making sure that the shift follows QIP guidelines and that daily paperwork is complete. Raising product issues with the Quality manager
- To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- To ensure all cages picked and loaded meet MBUK standards
- To manage the work area to ensure clean and tidy at all times
- To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
- To achieve the targets and job standards set out by management
- To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
