Position Summary

The Warehouse Chamber Lead will assist in the overall picking and dispatch of customers’ orders through using voice technology that communicates with a warehouse management system, working in a multi‑temperature environment. You will assist with the Warehouse Shift Supervisor to ensure all operational activities are maintained within company guidelines and provide guidance to Warehouse Operatives on general day‑to‑day operational queries as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • To pick and pack orders
  • To keep work area clean and tidy
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by management
  • To perform any reasonable request from Management
  • To work in a multi temperature environment
  • To check in and store all items correctly and securely to avoid damage
  • To ensure that stock rotation is completed on a daily basis
  • Ensure audit standards are kept within assigned area
  • Manage Quality Inspection Process in assigned area
  • To host Warehouse shift briefings when requested

Qualifications

  • Calm under pressure
  • Strong H&S awareness
  • Innovative, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and generate new opportunities for improvement
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Experience working in a physically demanding multi-temperature FMCG Environment
  • Experience of MHE driving – Desirable
