Overview

In this role you will support scheduling and logistics operations through transport modelling, data analysis, and continuous improvement. You will develop and maintain Paragon models, analyse data, and explore future scenarios to inform decisions that boost efficiency and growth. You’ll collaborate across functions to deliver insights, reporting, and planning resources that enhance visibility and execution. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain transport planning and scheduling models for operational planning, resource management, network reviews, and future initiatives
  • Analyse operational, customer, and scheduling data to identify trends, risks, and practical recommendations
  • Create and enhance databases, reporting tools, automation processes, and planning resources to improve accuracy and visibility
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to support planning projects, queries, schedule reviews, and service improvements
  • Use SQL, VBA, Excel, and other business systems to streamline processes, validate data, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Produce clear reports, insights, and recommendations on performance, capacity, and operational impacts
  • Maintain scheduling data, documentation, training materials, and best practice processes to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

  • experience with transport planning, scheduling, and modelling software such as Paragon or comparable solutions
  • proficiency with SQL, Excel, Power Query, VBA or similar tools for analysis and reporting
