Reya is building the future of real estate services. We acquire and modernise real estate services businesses using agentic AI, rebuilding operations from the ground up with a focus on real customers, real properties, and real revenue. Lettings and property management are among the most operationally complex areas of real estate. They are high-volume, recurring-revenue businesses that remain heavily manual and system-fragmented. This makes them a core pillar of Reya's roll-up strategy.

We are now looking for a Founding Operator to establish and scale the Lettings & Property Management function within Reya.

The role

This is not a traditional Lettings Director or Property Management role. As Founding Operator, you will be responsible for building the Lettings & Property Management unit from the ground up. In the early phase, this means operating directly on landlord properties and running day-to-day lettings and management workflows. Over time, you will grow this into a scalable business unit and lead integration efforts following acquisitions. You will work closely with the founders and engineering team to translate real operational workflows into systems and automation, shaping how this vertical operates long-term.

What you'll do

  • Early phase
    • Source and onboard landlord clients
    • Operate lettings end-to-end, including marketing, enquiries, viewings, offers, and compliance
    • Run property management workflows, including maintenance, renewals, and tenant communication
    • Establish initial processes, standards, and service levels
    • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation within day-to-day operations
  • Scaling phase
    • Design and own the operating model for Lettings & Property Management
    • Build and lead the lettings and property management team
    • Own the P&L for this business unit
    • Lead post-acquisition integration of lettings and property management businesses
    • Standardise systems, processes, and data across the group
    • Ensure service quality improves as the business scales

Who you are

  • Experienced in lettings and/or property management within a real operating business
  • Comfortable being hands-on in the early stages of building something new
  • Strong operational judgment and attention to detail
  • Able to work cross-functionally with engineers and founders
  • Motivated by ownership, responsibility, and long-term impact

Compensation

  • Meaningful early-stage equity
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • In-person London office with founders and engineers
