Reya is building the future of real estate services.

We acquire and modernise real estate services businesses using agentic AI, rebuilding operations from the ground up with a focus on real customers, real revenue, and scalable operating models.

M&A is a core engine of Reya's strategy. Our success depends not just on closing acquisitions, but on integrating them into a single, efficient, technology-enabled platform.

We are now looking for a Founding Associate (M&A) to build this capability from the ground up.

The role

As Founding Associate (M&A), you will be responsible for establishing and running Reya's acquisition and integration function.

In the early phase, you will work directly with the founder to source targets, run diligence, support transaction execution, and lead post-acquisition integration. Over time, you will build repeatable M&A and integration playbooks and scale this into a core business function.

This is an operator-led M&A role, focused on outcomes after close as much as the deal itself.

What you'll do

Early phase

  • Source and build relationships with potential acquisition targets
  • Support deal structuring, negotiations, and transaction execution
  • Run operational and commercial diligence across finance, operations, systems, and people
  • Coordinate external advisors (legal, accounting) as needed
  • Lead integration planning alongside founders, operators, and engineers

Post-acquisition

  • Own post-merger integration for acquired businesses
  • Align operations, systems, and reporting with Reya's operating model
  • Work with engineering to migrate, replace, or integrate legacy systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI
  • Ensure acquired businesses transition smoothly into steady-state operations

Scaling phase

  • Develop Reya's M&A and integration playbooks
  • Manage multiple acquisition and integration processes in parallel
  • Build and lead a small internal M&A / integration function
  • Feed operational learnings back into product and platform development

Who you are

  • Experience in M&A, corporate development, private equity operations, or operator-led acquisitions
  • Strong commercial and operational judgment
  • Comfortable working with incomplete information and ambiguity
  • Able to collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and operators
  • Motivated by ownership, long-term value creation, and building systems from scratch

Compensation

  • Meaningful early-stage equity
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • In-person London office with founders and operators
