Job Description
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the warehouse operations efficiently and effectively. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise a team of four Warehouse/Driver Operatives. Provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity.
Inventory Management: Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including goods receipt, storage allocation, and dispatch processes. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure optimal stock levels and minimal discrepancies.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Inter‑departmental Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between the warehouse and other departments. Facilitate efficient order fulfilment and promptly address any issues that may arise in the process.
Documentation and Reporting: Manage all necessary paperwork related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations. Maintain organized and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
