Rexel UK are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our Denmans Branch in Ipswich, working Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00.

As a Branch Assistant you will be the face of our wholesale branch, providing excellent customer service on the Trade Counter to trade professionals and members of the public whilst taking ownership of displays to highlight promotions and store offers.

Your days will vary from selling products on the trade counter, supporting the internal sales team with sales activity – this could be calling customers to build rapport or dealing with product and order queries, in addition you will undertake warehouse duties such as picking and packing customer orders to ensure customer orders are completed on time and ensuring a great service is provided for every single customer.

What we are looking for you be a Branch Assistant:

  • Previous experience: Experience within a wholesale, trade or retail environment is preferred but not essential
  • Customer Service:Experience working in a customer facing role, building strong customer relationships and able to demonstrate great service provided for repeat business.
  • Sales Support: Supporting the sales team by ensuring product availability and assisting with customer inquiries.
  • Communication:The ability to ask questions and provide information effectively across different stakeholders e.g. Colleagues, customers & Suppliers.
  • Stock Management:Experience from a Retail/ Trade or Wholesale stock environment, with proven ability to pick & pack orders or to book in and organise goods in to store/branch. Assisting in the management of branch stock, including daily profiling requests and monthly stock adjustments.
