As a Sales Capability & Effectiveness Consultant at Rexel UK, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by contributing to the development of our largest workforce—our sales teams. This role allows you to design and deliver innovative training programmes that galvanise our sales teams' high performance and engagement.

In the UK, we have a national branch network; this role will require in-person delivery to our people, providing you with the opportunity to travel for 70% of your working week. You will join a talented and well-established Learning & Development team, a Centre of Excellence within our wider People Team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging learning and development programs tailored to sales roles (ISEs, BDMs, Branch Managers).
  • Conduct diagnostics to identify sales skill gaps and create practical, behaviour-based learning experiences.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, including roleplay and simulated sales conversations.
  • Provide 1:1 or group coaching to embed learning into everyday selling behaviour.
  • Develop blended learning programs combining e-learning, live workshops, and coaching.
  • Create guides, playbooks, and microlearning tools for ongoing reinforcement.
  • Track learning outcomes and behavioural adoption, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
