Join us as our Bid Manager where you will lead a talented team of 3 and have the chance to shape our bid strategy while contributing to our continued success.
This is a permanent, Hybrid role with flexibility to work from our Head office near Birmingham International Airport, our branches, and remotely.

Job Description
As a pivotal member of our team, you will develop and implement bid management strategies that enhance win rates, margin, and revenue growth. You will:
- Own the end-to-end bid process - from qualification and storyboarding to submission and post-bid reviews
- Lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver high-quality, compliant bids on time
- Embed digital tools and analytics (CRM data, bid libraries, dashboards) to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Category, Technical, and Finance to build compelling, customer-focused proposals
- Track performance metrics, share insight with cross-functional teams and Senior Stakeholders, and continuously refine our bid playbook
Success will look like improved conversion rates, shorter bid cycles, stronger stakeholder feedback, and measurable revenue uplift from strategic bids.

Committed to continuous improvement, possessing or working towards a bid management qualification (e.g., APMP) would be advantageous but not essential.
