Overview
As an Apprentice Branch Assistant, you will gain experience across Warehouse/Logistics, Trade Counter, and Internal Sales. This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience, learning opportunities, and a solid foundation for your future career. You will be part of a tailored training program with dedicated study days and support from your training provider designed to help you succeed. This apprenticeship can prepare you for roles such as Branch Manager, Business Development & Sales, or mastering Logistics.
What will you do?
- Provide excellent customer service to customers over the phone and face to face
- Manage stock in and out – order processing, picking and packing, store transfers & stock control
- Serve customers on the Trade Counter
- Internal Sales – make sales calls to a portfolio of existing and new customers and work with the external sales team
- Carry out sales administration duties – raising quotations, following up on quotations and processing customer orders
- Work in the warehouse and assist with heavy lifting while picking and packing orders and handling goods in/out loading delivery vans
- Continuously enhance product knowledge by learning and keeping up to date with new products entering the market
