We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Inverness branch, working a 7am - 4pm shift, Monday to Friday. Rexel UK is a global leader in the distribution of electrical and energy-efficient products and services. Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the warehouse operations efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and supervise a team of four Warehouse/Driver Operatives. Provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and implement strategies to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including goods receipt, storage allocation, and dispatch processes. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure optimal stock levels and minimal discrepancies.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the warehouse and other departments. Facilitate efficient order fulfilment and promptly address any issues that may arise in the process.
- Manage all necessary paperwork related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations. Maintain organized and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven background and knowledge of warehouse operations ideally in a supervisory position
- Great communication skills across all different levels
- Good Warehouse & Logistics Health & Safety knowledge
- Proficiency with IT systems
