Warehouse Person – Stockton Hub
Working Monday‑Friday, 7 am–4 pm or 8 am–5 pm shift pattern. Rexel is a worldwide expert in distributing electric and energy‑efficient products and services. Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
- Assist in conducting cycle counts, returns and logging supplier discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Experience: Strong warehouse experience, including safe manual handling, picking, packing, goods‑in and goods‑out, loading/unloading trailers, palletising, basic stock replenishment and use of warehouse equipment (pump trucks, pallet jacks). Comfortable working to tight SLAs and shift patterns in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments.
- Communication: Clear communicator with experience liaising with supervisors, drivers, hauliers and cross‑functional teams; confident in reporting issues, escalating problems, giving and receiving instructions.
- Adaptability: Ability to switch up your day when needed to support the business’s needs.
- Collaboration: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives.
- Takes Accountability: Taking action, overcoming obstacles, and meeting commitments.
- Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer‑centric solutions.
